Sailing – Day 2 – Cane Garden Bay to Manchioneel Bay

We sailed out of Cane Garden Bay up along the north coast, stopped for lunch off Monkey Point and then continued around Tortola. Finally broke free of headwinds and had our first nice stretch on a beam reach. Anchored for night in Manchioneel Bay on Cooper Island.

We met up at 9 AM in Sopers hole, met our instructor and fellow class mates. After a detailed safety briefing and a bit of kerfuffle with the local customs folk, we ate lunch onboard and finally shoved off. A hangover leftover from the night before found me dragging a bit. Sailed up to Cane Garden Bay where we anchored, dined, and slept.
