Morning Power Shake

  • 60g Low-carb protein mix (I use MyProtein Total Protein Chocolate Smooth)
  • 45ml Heavy Cream
  • 1 Raw egg
  • 15ml MCT Oil
  • 5-6 ice cubes
  • 300ml water
  • 25g blueberries (or other thin-skinned berry)


I have this on mornings when I don’t have time for a cooked breakfast but I want something that will keep me full through lunch. It’s packed with calories and fat and gives me a ton of energy.

To make it, just throw it all in a blender and blend for 90 seconds. Drink immediately.

A couple quick notes:

  • If you don’t have a chocolate protein mix you can add in some backing cocoa powder. It’s very low in carbs and will turn a boring  plain mix into something delicious.
  • Almost all the carbs in this are from the berries. Get rid of them if you are being super restrictive about carb intake.
